The background in today’s comic is my step-cousin’s new bar “The Rowdy Rooster.” He recently bought it & we got the chance to visit it last weekend. So, if you’re ever passing through Marlow, Oklahoma, find The Rowdy Rooster & swing by for a drink!
It’s been a very crazy week for me. This comic almost didn’t happen. I had two teeth pulled from my upper jaw on the same side. There were some complications from the extraction & I ended up having to go back to the dentist a few hours later to get sutures. The skeeters would’ve had a party with all the blood I lost. Anyway, I’ve been feeling sick & pretty weak since. I managed to sleep most of today, get some food down, and crank out this week’s comic.
One of the highlights of this week was that a skeeter reader friended me on twitter & gave me a recipe for this week’s drink. So, the weekend is here. You’ve earned it. Have a drink by Hannah Varble. Thanks, Hannah!
