LVS #69: Anniversary Party

Holy bug bombs!  This little webcomic has survived its 1st year!  A few thanks are in order, so raise your glass!  1st & foremost, my wife has been super-supportive.  Today’s comic, in fact, is her idea!  In the background behind the mosquitoes is the Philbrook Museum here in Tulsa.  It was while picnicing on the lawn during their summer movie series last year that I came up with the idea for La Vida Skeeter.

The 2nd big thanks is to YOU the reader.  The LVS audience is small, but mighty.  I appreciate all the feedback and
encouragement!  I’m looking forward to year 2!  Biggest goals: I want to streamline the design of the site a little more & keep improving on the writing and artwork.  I welcome any ideas.  You can drop me an email at lee (at) lavidaskeeter (dot) com or comment below.

Another big note this week: I did my first guest comic!  It’s for Antoine Gagnon’s “The Drunken Fools.”  It posts Sunday & the skeeters make an appearance, but you don’t have to wait until then to check out his comic & the archives.  If you like La Vida Skeeter, you might dig his comic (both involve drinking adult beverages at the kiddie table of life).

Thanks again for an awesome year one & I’ll see ya back here next week!
