Posting this week’s comic from the Coffeehouse on Cherry Street here in Tulsa. The Sprint card on my wife’s laptop quit working, so I had to seek out wi-fi. Confession time: I don’t actually own a computer. I use a couple different computers to scan & do the coloring and then just keep everything on flash drives. It’s a lot of hustle, but I’m happy with the end result. And it makes publishing each week seem even sweeter when I get it done. I drew this week’s comic at work after editing a story on heart-healthy foods. To avoid any confusion for new readers, this comic’s not any sort of political statement. The mosquito in the Florida shirt is named Florida, with the idea that skeeters are a little bigger in that part of the country. He’s a recurring character, and I thought he’d make the perfect bouncer when trying to oust rowdy mosquitos from “the club.” Anywho, my time’s pretty limited, so this blog’s gonna’ be, too.
Happy Friday! Have a great weekend, and here: have a drink!
Naked Pretzel
3/4 oz. Vodka
1 oz. Melon Liqueur
1/2 oz. Creme de Cassis
2 oz. Pineapple Juice
Sitr & pour over ice in an old-fashioned glass…and put some clothes on, you twisted pretzel!
Cheers,
Lee
