Is it just that our friend The Irish Car Bomb is so hammered he’s seeing mythical creatures or are we so drunk we’re seeing talking mosquitoes? I dunno. Chicken/egg debate, I guess.
Here, have another drink while you ponder:
Irish Flag
1 oz. Creme de Menthe (green)
1 oz. Irish Cream Liqueur
1 oz. Grand Marnier
This one’s a floater. By that, I mean, you try to float your ingredients so that they are layered from heaviest liquor at bottom to lightest on top. Layering a drink is the third oldest drink preparation technique. Anyway, in a cordial glass, carefully pour the ingredients (in the order listed) so that each liquor floats on top of the preceding one. Look at that! It resembles an irish flag.
