♣ Top o’ the work week to ya! ♣
Today begins St. Pat’s Week here at La Vida Skeeter! LVS will update Monday through Friday this week with a new St. Pat’s-themed comic each day! ”Why?” you ask.
- One.) It fits the theme of the comic! The skeeters drink, and St. Pat’s has become more a drinking holiday than it is a day about remembering a snake exodus from Ireland.
- Two.) One of my grandmothers was a Fitzpatrick, the other: a Murphy. How can I not go big on St. Pat’s?
- Three.) I dropped the ball on getting a Mardi Gras comic up. So…here’s a perfect chance to make it up and then some!

Irish Car Bomb
3/4 pint Guinness stout
1/2 shot Bailey’s Irish cream
1/2 shot Irish whiskey
Fill the shot glass with the Bailey’s and the Irish whiskey and drop the shot glass into the pint glass of Guinness. Chug!!! Incidentally, the skeeter with the derby in today’s comic is named after this drink.
